I am a furniture artist specialising in the use of silver, gold and copper leaf and paint techniques to create unique one-off pieces of furniture.

I have always been interested in interior decoration and furniture and would often create ‘one off’ pieces for myself, friends and family and when the time was right I decided that I would follow my passion and scratch my creativity itch, hence Piece Unique was born.

I love to find traditional antique or vintage pieces built with real craftsmanship and that have that little extra style.  I am particularly drawn to pieces that need saving, that are past their sell by date and showing signs of previous life and heritage but in need of TLC.  In my small workshop at home I try to keep the integrity of the original pieces wherever possible whilst giving them a professional spray paint finish and an attention to fine detail.

I find nothing more satisfying than seeing a piece of my furniture looking beautiful but more importantly being useful, reused and loved once again in its new home.
