Antique Black Display/Cocktail Cabinet with Decoupage and Gold Leaf Detailing.
 
'Emerson' is a fully rejuvenated Mahogany Antique Display Cabinet with elegant lines and cabriole legs.  It has been lovingly updated and painted in Ash Fusion Mineral Paint and varnished for durability.  The inside has been decoupaged in a really cool palm and cheetah design linen affect wallpaper that complements the exterior. The beautiful bent wood glass doors and the ornate detailing have been enhanced with gold metallic leaf giving it a lustre and luxury that only gilding provides. 
 
The interior has been cleaned and restored and it is in great vintage condition.  The brass hardware catches and hinges are original but unfortunately the brass lock was missing and needed replacing (2 keys available).  The original wooden shelves needed replacing and have been replaced with toughened 8mm glass helping it to look light and airy but durable.
 
This glamourous Display Cabinet would work brilliantly as a Gin/Cocktail Bar, Bathroom Cabinet, Dressing Room Storage or just as it was intended, to show off all those precious bits and pieces.  No matter what you decide to use it for it will always be a statement piece.
 
This piece has been lovingly updated hence it still shows signs of its vintage heritage but retains all of its charm. I have tried to show the condition in the photos but please ask if you require more information.
